Mandeep Singh opened the scoring before Boon took charge, converting a penalty stroke and four penalty corners to overwhelm the visitors. SG Pipers showed resilience through goals from Tomas Domene and Gareth Furlong, briefly drawing level in the third quarter. However, Boon’s quick-fire brace swung momentum decisively in the Royals’ favour.
