Debutant James Coles starred with an unbeaten 61 and returned figures of 2/34, while Senuran Muthusamy claimed 3/26 as Sunrisers’ spinners dismantled the chase. Quinton de Kock’s fluent 54 set the tone as the hosts posted 178/5. Joburg Super Kings faltered under pressure, slipping to a heavy defeat.
The victory lifted Sunrisers back to the top of the table with 24 points and confirmed their playoff berth.
