Accord Tamil Nadu Dragons clinched a dramatic 4-2 shootout win over Ranchi Royals after a thrilling 3-3 draw in the Men’s Hockey India League.
The Dragons earned a bonus point, while the Royals secured second place and set up a Qualifier 1 clash against Kalinga Lancers. Tom Boon struck twice and Mandeep Singh scored early for the Royals, but Blake Govers’ brace and Karthi Selvam’s goal kept the Dragons alive.
In the shootout, Nathan Ephraums, Govers, Uttam Singh and Tom Craig converted as the Dragons prevailed.
