Chasing 159, skipper Tristan Stubbs and Matthew Breetzke produced a match-winning, unbeaten 114-run partnership to seal victory with four balls remaining.
Earlier, Dewald Brevis dazzled with a sublime 101 off 56 balls to lift the Capitals to 158/7. Stubbs’ late assault swung the momentum as Sunrisers once again broke Capitals’ hearts, underlining their status as the competition’s most successful franchise.
