South Africa Beat Zimbabwe by 48 Runs to Win T20I Tri-Series

South Africa produced a dominant all-round performance to beat Zimbabwe by 48 runs in the final and win the T20I tri-series at the Namibia Cricket Ground on Sunday.

Jordan Hermann smashed a rapid 53 off 24 balls, while Dewald Brevis contributed 32 as South Africa posted 205/5 after opting to bat first. Connor Esterhuizen scored 32 and Rubin Hermann added 27 to help the Proteas cross the 200-run mark. Zimbabwe’s chase suffered an early collapse, with Ben Curran dismissed for a first-ball duck and four wickets falling inside the powerplay. Captain Bjorn Fortuin claimed 3-24, while Duan Jansen took 3-38.

Brad Evans fought back with an unbeaten 56, including his maiden T20I fifty, but Zimbabwe were bowled out for 157 in 18 overs.
