India’s Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty clinched the men’s doubles title at the China Masters, defeating China’s He Ji Ting and Ren Xiang Yu 11-21, 21-13, 21-17 in a thrilling final.
The world No. 5 Indians recovered strongly after losing the opening game and completed the comeback in 70 minutes. Satwik and Chirag fell behind early in the first game but dominated the second with powerful smashes to force a decider. The Indian pair then held their nerve in the closing stages, winning four straight points to seal the title. It is their 10th BWF World Tour title, second Super 750 crown of 2026 and fourth overall.
They also became the first Indians to win the China Masters since its inception in 2005.
