Shubman Gill said Gujarat Titans finally delivered a “perfect match” after their commanding 77-run victory over Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026.
Gujarat piled up 229/4, powered by Gill’s 84 and Sai Sudharsan’s 55, before bowling Rajasthan out for 152. Gill praised the team’s all-round execution, saying they assessed conditions well and adapted when the pitch slowed down. He highlighted the importance of preserving wickets and attacking with the ball to create pressure.
Gill also gave an update on his ankle scare, saying the pain settled after some time and he expects to be fine.
