SG Pipers lifted the Women’s Hockey India League 2025-26 title after defeating Shrachi Bengal Tigers 3-2 in a tense shootout following a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
Lalremsiami (16’) gave the Tigers the lead before Preeti Dubey (53’) equalised late for Pipers. Captain Navneet Kaur, Juana Castellaro and Lola Riera converted in the shootout, while goalkeeper Bansari Solanki made crucial saves.
SG Pipers earned Rs 1.5 crore in prize money, with Solanki named Best Goalkeeper and Navneet Kaur crowned Player of the Tournament. Hockey India League announced Rs 1 crore in prize money for runners-up Shrachi Bengal Tigers and Rs 50 lakh for third-placed Ranchi Royals.
