SG Pipers secured their first win of the 2025-26 Men’s Hockey India League with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Hyderabad Toofans in Ranchi.
Tomas Domene starred with a brace, striking in the 8th and 29th minutes, while goalkeeper Tomas Santiago delivered a standout performance, including a crucial penalty save. Despite dominating possession, the Toofans managed only one goal through Amandeep Lakra’s dragflick. Santiago’s late heroics ensured the Pipers held on to seal a memorable win.
