SA20 delivered another thriller as Durban’s Super Giants edged Sunrisers Eastern Cape by two wickets at St George’s Park.
Chasing 159, DSG looked in control after a blazing Powerplay led by Aiden Markram and Marques Ackerman, but Sunrisers fought back through Senuran Muthusamy and Anrich Nortje to reduce them to 137/7. Tailenders Gerald Coetzee and Evan Jones held their nerve, with Jones sealing the win with a boundary, as DSG reached 162/8 with three balls to spare.
Earlier, Tristan Stubbs’ unbeaten 47 guided Sunrisers to 158/5, but it proved just short.
