Rajasthan Royals Manager Romi Bhinder Cleared of Serious Wrongdoing, Fined for Protocol Breach

Rajasthan Royals manager Romi Bhinder has been cleared of any serious wrongdoing after being seen using a mobile phone near the dugout during an IPL match. The BCCI’s Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) found no malicious intent following an inquiry.

However, the act was deemed a breach of protocol, and Bhinder was fined INR 1 lakh and issued a warning, with it being treated as a first-time offence.

The incident occurred during a match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Guwahati, where mobile phone usage in the dugout area is strictly prohibited under league rules.
