Sahibzada Farhan’s explosive 73 at the top of the order guided Pakistan to a convincing 32-run win over the USA in their Group A clash of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in Colombo.
Pakistan posted a strong 190/9 after Farhan and Babar Azam added 81 runs for the third wicket. In reply, the USA fought back through Shayan Jahangir and Shubham Ranjane, but disciplined bowling from Usman Tariq and Shadab Khan restricted them to 158/8.
The victory helped Pakistan avenge their 2024 World Cup defeat.
