East Bengal stormed into the AIFF Super Cup final with a 3-1 win over Punjab FC in Fatorda.
Mohamad Basim Rashid opened the scoring before Daniel Ramirez levelled from the spot. Kevin Sibille restored East Bengal’s lead on the stroke of half-time, and captain Saul Crespo sealed the victory in the 71st minute. Punjab created early chances but looked defensively unsettled in the absence of Muhammad Uvais. Despite tactical changes after the break, Punjab couldn’t break through again.
East Bengal’s disciplined display secured their third Super Cup final berth and their second final appearance of the season.
