Delhi Capitals scripted IPL history with a stunning three-wicket win over Punjab Kings in Dharamsala, completing the highest successful chase in tournament history.
Chasing 211, DC recovered from 14/2 and 38/3 thanks to captain Axar Patel’s 56, a counterattacking 51 from David Miller, and a fearless cameo by IPL debutant Madhav Tiwari. Tiwari smashed 18 off eight balls in a crucial late partnership with Ashutosh Sharma to swing momentum back in DC’s favour.
Despite excellent spells from Arshdeep Singh and early breakthroughs by Punjab Kings, DC sealed the chase with six balls remaining to keep their IPL 2026 playoff hopes alive.
