Australia stormed into the Women’s World Cup semi-finals with a dominant 10-wicket win over Bangladesh on Thursday.
Captain Alyssa Healy’s unbeaten 113 and Phoebe Litchfield’s 84 not out powered the chase, as the openers reached 202/0 in just 24.5 overs. Healy’s 77-ball knock included 20 fours, while Litchfield struck 12 boundaries and a six.
Earlier, Sobhana Mostary’s unbeaten 66 helped Bangladesh post a competitive 198/9, their highest total against Australia.
The result lifted Australia to the top of the table with nine points from five matches, while Bangladesh remained sixth with two points.
Bangladesh will next face Sri Lanka on October 20, while Australia aim to maintain their unbeaten streak against England on October 22 in the Women’s World Cup 2025.
