Brazil booked their place in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 32 with a commanding 3-0 victory over Scotland at Miami Stadium.
Vinicius Junior starred with a first-half brace, scoring in the sixth minute before adding another in stoppage time. The Real Madrid forward became only the fifth Brazilian player to score in all three group-stage matches of a World Cup. Matheus Cunha added Brazil’s third goal in the second half to complete the comfortable win.
The match also marked the long-awaited World Cup return of Neymar, who came on as a late substitute. Brazil finished top of Group C and advanced confidently to the knockout stage.
