Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the San Antonio Spurs 123-108 on Friday to take a 2-1 lead in the NBA Western Conference Finals.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander starred with 26 points, while the Thunder bench made a huge impact through Jared McCain’s 24 points and Jaylin Williams’ 18. San Antonio made a flying start and raced to a 15-0 lead, but Oklahoma City recovered strongly to dominate the remainder of the contest. Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 26 points, while Devin Vassell added 20.
The game also saw tempers flare in the third quarter following a shoving incident involving Ajay Mitchell and Stephon Castle before Thunder closed out an impressive road victory.
