Sunil Narine and Rinku Singh starred as Kolkata Knight Riders clinched a thrilling Super Over victory against Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2026 at BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium.
After both teams were tied at 155, the game went into the season’s first Super Over. Narine bowled brilliantly, dismissing Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram as LSG managed just one run. In response, Rinku smashed the winning boundary off the very first ball.
Earlier, Rinku’s unbeaten 83 and four sixes in the final over had forced the tie.
The result lifted KKR to eighth place with five points, while LSG slipped to the bottom of the IPL 2026 Points table with four points.
