In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Super Eights clash at Arun Jaitley Stadium, South Africa edged past Zimbabwe national cricket team by five wickets. Zimbabwe posted 153/7, powered by Sikandar Raza’s brilliant 73, the highest by a Zimbabwe captain in T20 World Cup history.
Raza also claimed 3-29, dismissing key batters early. Chasing 154, South Africa recovered from early blows as Dewald Brevis blasted 42 off 18 balls. George Linde and Tristan Stubbs guided the chase home with 13 balls to spare, keeping the Proteas unbeaten ahead of their semi-final against New Zealand in Kolkata.
