Soorma Hockey Club concluded their Women’s Hockey India League (HIL) 2025-26 campaign with an energetic 3–2 win over finalists Bengal Tigers at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astro Turf Stadium.
Though a dead rubber, the match was played at high intensity. Sonam opened the scoring in the first quarter before Agustina Gorzelany equalised for the Tigers. Vaishnavi and Penny Squibb combined to restore Soorma’s lead, while a late Lalremsiami goal kept the contest alive.
Soorma held firm to secure a memorable victory.
