Shubman Gill admitted Gujarat Titans lost control in the middle overs during their five-wicket defeat to Royal Challengers Bengaluru at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Gill said GT failed to score boundaries between the 16th and 19th overs, which proved decisive despite posting 205/3. A dropped catch of Virat Kohli on nought hurt GT badly, as Kohli went on to score 81 off 44 balls. Devdutt Padikkal added a blazing 55, guiding RCB home.
Earlier, Sai Sudharsan smashed a century for GT, but it wasn’t enough.
