Shai Gilgeous-Alexander extended his record-breaking streak of scoring at least 20 points in 128 consecutive games as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-103 on Sunday.
Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 20 points and 10 assists, scoring 10 of those in the fourth quarter. The Thunder bench played a key role, with Isaiah Joe contributing 20 points and Alex Caruso adding 17. Julius Randle led Minnesota with 32 points.
The victory extended Oklahoma City’s winning streak to eight games and strengthened their lead at the top of the Western Conference standings.
