Chase scored just 42 runs across six innings and claimed only three wickets, acknowledging he failed to lead by example despite motivating his teammates verbally. While praising the bowlers’ effort and highlighting three centuries as positives, Chase said both he and the batting group must improve significantly to restore West Indies’ competitiveness in Test cricket.
