Former India cricketers Rahul Dravid and Ravichandran Ashwin are reportedly among investors set to acquire the Glasgow franchise in the upcoming European T20 Premier League (ETPL).
According to reports, the duo is part of an Indian consortium buying the team in the six-franchise tournament scheduled to begin in August. Other franchises also feature prominent cricket names. Amsterdam will be led by Steve Waugh, while Belfast is owned by Glenn Maxwell. A Rotterdam franchise is expected to be backed by South African stars including Faf du Plessis and Heinrich Klaasen.
Meanwhile, actor Abhishek Bachchan is also associated with the league as a part-owner.
