Nashra Sandhu Takes Record 6/7 as Pakistan Beat Hong Kong by 72 Runs

Nashra Sandhu produced a record-breaking six-wicket haul as Pakistan Women defeated Hong Kong Women by 72 runs in their Group A match of the ACC Women’s T20 Asia Cup in Dubai.

Pakistan posted 143/8 after Shawaal Zulfiqar top-scored with 47 off 35 balls, while Ayesha Zafar made 26 and captain Fatima Sana remained unbeaten on 24. Hong Kong struggled against Pakistan’s bowling attack and were bowled out for 71 in 19 overs. Sandhu returned outstanding figures of 6/7 in four overs, recording the best T20I bowling figures by a Pakistan women’s cricketer and surpassing Omaima Sohail’s previous mark of 5/13. The victory confirmed Pakistan’s place in the semifinals.

Finishing second in Group A with four points, Pakistan will face Sri Lanka in the second semifinal on September 11.
