Novak Djokovic Survives Five-Hour Epic to Reach Record 15th Wimbledon Semi-final

Novak Djokovic battled past Felix Auger-Aliassime in a thrilling five-set marathon to reach a record-extending 15th Wimbledon semi-final.

The Serbian prevailed 7-6(10), 3-6, 6-3, 6-7(4), 7-6(10-4) in the longest Wimbledon quarter-final ever, lasting five hours and 15 minutes. The victory marked Djokovic’s 55th Grand Slam semi-final and his eighth consecutive last-four appearance at the All England Club. At 39, he became the second-oldest man in the Open Era to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals after Ken Rosewall.

Djokovic also recorded his 107th match win at Wimbledon and will now face defending champion Jannik Sinner in a blockbuster semi-final, seeking revenge for last year’s defeat and aiming for a record-extending 25th Grand Slam title.
