Liam Livingstone smashed an unbeaten 82 off 38 balls to power Abu Dhabi Knight Riders to a 39-run win over Sharjah Warriorz in their DP World ILT20 Season 4 opener.
Supported by Sherfane Rutherford’s 45, Livingstone’s explosive finish lifted ADKR to 233/4, including a 33-run final over. Warriorz faltered early in the chase, slipping to 56/3 before Tim David’s blistering 60 off 24 revived hopes. Ajay Kumar’s tight spell and David’s dismissal ended the threat as Warriorz managed only 194/9 despite late strikes from Dwayne Pretorius and Adil Rashid.
