Top Indian shuttlers Lakshya Sen and H.S. Prannoy will headline India’s campaign at the Kumamoto Masters Japan 2025, a BWF World Tour Super 500 event starting Tuesday in Kumamoto.
Lakshya, ranked 13th in the Race to Finals, faces Japan’s Koki Watanabe, while Prannoy returns from injury to meet Malaysia’s Leong Jun Hao. Rising talents Ayush Shetty, Kiran George, and Tharun Mannepalli will also compete in men’s singles. Naishaa Kaur Bhatoye is India’s lone women’s singles representative.
With top pair Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy withdrawing, India’s only mixed doubles entry will be Rohan Kapoor and Ruthvika Shivani Gadde.
