Japan Make World Cup History with Record 4-0 Win Over Tunisia

Japan created history by becoming the first Asian team to score four goals in a FIFA World Cup match, crushing Tunisia National Football Team 4-0 in Group F.

Ayase Ueda starred with a brilliant brace and an assist, while Daichi Kamada and Junya Ito also found the net. Kamada opened the scoring in the fourth minute, the fastest goal ever scored by a Japanese player at the World Cup. Ueda then added two goals, including a stunning header, before setting up Ito.

The emphatic victory moved Japan level with the Netherlands at the top of Group F and left Tunisia eliminated from the tournament.
