Jalen Brunson scored 30 points as the New York Knicks rallied from a 14-point second-half deficit to defeat the San Antonio Spurs 105-95 and take a 1-0 lead in the NBA Finals.
Brunson overcame an early knee injury scare and delivered 13 fourth-quarter points to spark a stunning comeback. The Knicks trailed by 14 in the third quarter but gradually fought back to level the game before finishing strongly in the closing minutes. Karl-Anthony Towns added 18 points, while OG Anunoby scored 17.
Spurs star Victor Wembanyama finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds but struggled from the field as New York seized home-court advantage in the series.
