The India women’s secured a commanding 4-1 victory over Wales in the FIH Hockey World Cup Qualifiers 2026 in Hyderabad.
Navneet Kaur starred with a brilliant hat-trick, scoring in the 29th, 34th and 55th minutes, while Sakshi Rana opened the scoring early in the match. India dominated possession and created multiple chances throughout the contest at the Gachibowli Hockey Complex. Despite Wales pulling one back late in the game, India maintained control to seal the win.
The victory ensured India finished as Pool B table-toppers and advanced to the semi-finals, where they will face Italy in their next match.
