India began their Squash World Cup 2025 campaign in style with a dominant 4-0 win over debutants Switzerland in their Pool B opener at Express Avenue Mall.
National champion Velavan Senthilkumar set the tempo with a tight 3-0 win over Robin Gadola. Teen sensation Anahat Singh followed with a composed 3-0 victory against Celine Walser. Abhay Singh then extended India’s lead, defeating Louai Hafez 3-0 with strong control throughout. Veteran Joshna Chinappa sealed the sweep with a 3-1 win over Stella Kaufmann. Harinder Pal Sandhu said the strong start boosts confidence as India now prepares to face Brazil next.
