India delivered its greatest-ever performance at the World Boxing Cup Finals 2025, clinching nine gold medals on a historic final day in Greater Noida.
Jaismine Lamboria stunned Olympic medallist Wu Shih Yi, while Nikhat Zareen, Parveen, Minakshi, Preeti, Arundhati and Nupur powered a dominant women’s sweep. India finished with nine gold, six silver and five bronze medals, with all 20 boxers reaching the podium. Minakshi, Preeti and Arundhati recorded commanding wins, while Nupur sealed a tight 3:2 victory.
In the men’s section, Sachin and Hitesh added two golds with clinical performances, capping a defining campaign for the host nation.
