Indian Junior Men’s Hockey Team delivered yet another ruthless attacking spectacle at the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup Tamil Nadu 2025, crushing Oman 17-0 in Pool B.
After a commanding 7-0 win over Chile in their previous match, India’s offence reached new heights. Manmeet Singh, Arshdeep Singh, and Dilraj Singh led the charge with brilliant hat-tricks, while Ajeet Yadav, Gurjot Singh, and Ingalemba Thounaojam Luwang added multi-goal contributions. Oman started strongly in defence, slowing India after an early goal, but India returned explosively post-break to seize momentum.
With 24 goals across games and consecutive clean sheets, India sit atop the pool, ahead of Switzerland.
