A strong all-round display helped India defeat Bangladesh by 18 runs via the DLS method at the Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo.
After early setbacks, Vaibhav Suryavanshi struck a brilliant 72 to anchor India’s innings, while Abhigyan Kundu added a valuable 80 as India posted 238 in a rain-affected match. Bangladesh began their chase steadily, but Vihaan Malhotra’s match-winning spell of 4/14 triggered a dramatic collapse.
Supported by disciplined bowling from Khilan Patel and Henil Patel, India restricted Bangladesh and sealed a crucial tournament victory.
