Zimbabwe registered a rare innings victory, defeating Afghanistan by an innings and 73 runs in the one-off Test at Harare Sports Club with two days to spare.
After bowling Afghanistan out for 127, Zimbabwe replied with 359, led by Ben Curran’s maiden century (121), earning him Player of the Match. Afghanistan faltered again in their second innings, dismissed for 159, with Richard Ngarava claiming his first Test five-wicket haul (5/37). It was Zimbabwe’s third-ever innings win and their first Test triumph in Harare since 2013.
