The England and Wales Cricket Board has reaffirmed that Pakistani players will not face discrimination in selections for The Hundred despite reports suggesting otherwise.
According to BBC, four Indian-owned franchises were allegedly not considering Pakistani players for the upcoming auction in London. However, the ECB stressed that all eight teams will select players solely on performance, availability and squad needs. A total of 67 Pakistani cricketers have registered for the draft. Former England captain Michael Vaughan also urged the ECB to uphold inclusivity.
The auction is scheduled for March 11 and 12.
