World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka snapped a three-match losing streak against Karolina Muchova with a commanding 6-3, 6-4 win in the Brisbane International semifinal, extending her unbeaten start to the 2026 season.
Sabalenka broke early in both sets and combined powerful baseline strokes with confident net play to maintain control. Muchova challenged late in the second set, creating break points, but Sabalenka held her nerve to seal victory in straight sets.
The Belarusian remains flawless in Brisbane, having defeated Cristina Bucsa, Sorana Cirstea, and Madison Keys without dropping a set, and now advances to face either Jessica Pegula or Marta Kostyuk in the final.
