Responding strongly after being controversially retired out previously, Deol dominated MI’s bowling with sublime timing and precision.
Phoebe Litchfield (25) and Chloe Tryon (27* ) provided crucial support as UPW chased 162 with 11 balls to spare. Earlier, Nat Sciver-Brunt’s 65 and Nicola Carey’s 32* lifted MI to 161/5, but Deol’s brilliance proved decisive.
