British wildcard Arthur Fery produced the biggest win of his career by defeating former World No. 3 Grigor Dimitrov 7-5, 3-6, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6(10-7) to reach his first Wimbledon quarter-final.
Playing in his Centre Court debut, the 23-year-old fought back from two sets to one down after Dimitrov twice held a break advantage in the fourth set. Fery capitalized on a dramatic collapse from the Bulgarian before sealing victory in a tense deciding-set tie-break. The triumph makes Fery the last British singles player left in the tournament and only the sixth British man in the Open Era to reach the Wimbledon quarter-finals.
He also became the first man outside the top 100 since 2014 to achieve the feat.
