Novak Djokovic Equals Roger Federer’s Wimbledon Record, Enters Fourth Round

Novak Djokovic Survives Five-Hour Epic to Reach Record 15th Wimbledon Semi-final

Novak Djokovic battled past Arthur Rinderknech 7-5, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6(4) to reach the fourth round of The Championships, Wimbledon and equal Roger Federer’s record of 105 men’s singles victories at the grass-court Grand Slam.

Djokovic, chasing an eighth Wimbledon title, overcame a spirited fightback from the Frenchman in a tense three-hour contest on Centre Court. The Serbian now shares the all-time men’s record with Federer, while Martina Navratilova remains the overall leader with 120 singles wins at Wimbledon.

Djokovic will next face Roman Safiullin for a place in the quarter-finals.
