Colombia continued their impressive FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Ghana at Kansas City Stadium to secure the final place in the Round of 16.

Jhon Arias scored the decisive goal in the 14th minute after being set up by Luis Javier Suarez, giving Nestor Lorenzo’s side an early advantage. Colombia dominated possession throughout the contest and defended resolutely to deny Ghana a single shot on target.
