West Indies crushed Sri Lanka by an innings and 217 runs in the first Test in Antigua on Sunday, taking a 1-0 lead in the two-match series. West Indies posted a huge 626 in their first innings after Sri Lanka scored 308 runs in their opening innings.

Sri Lanka, trailing by 318 runs, were bowled out for 101, with Dinesh Chandimal top-scoring with 43.

Veteran pacer Kemar Roach starred with 4-51 and became only the fifth West Indian to claim 300 Test wickets. Jayden Seales took 3-14 as West Indies sealed a dominant victory, their first Test win since defeating Pakistan in 2025.
