Gujarat Giants registered a thrilling 10-run win over UP Warriorz in the second match of WPL 2026 at the DY Patil Stadium.
Captain Ashleigh Gardner led from the front with a fluent 65 as the Giants posted 207/4. Chasing a big target, UP lost early wickets but Phoebe Litchfield kept them in the hunt with a brilliant 78 off 40 balls. Renuka Singh Thakur struck crucial blows early, while Sophie Devine and Georgia Wareham applied pressure at the death.
Despite a late cameo from Asha Shobhana, the Warriorz finished on 197/8.
