Afghanistan Beat Zimbabwe by 7 wickets in 2nd T20I
Rashid Khan’s brilliant 3-9 and Ibrahim Zadran’s unbeaten 57 powered Afghanistan to a seven-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the second T20I at Harare Sports Club on Friday, sealing the three-match series 2-0 with a game to spare.
Zimbabwe, after opting to bat, were bowled out for 125, with skipper Sikandar Raza top-scoring with 37 before falling to Rashid. The Afghan spinner’s incisive spell dismantled the hosts’ middle order.
Chasing 126, Zadran anchored the innings with seven boundaries, while Azmatullah Omarzai struck the winning four as Afghanistan reached 129-3 in 18 overs. The final match will be played on Sunday.
