Hazlewood, Marsh Star as Australia Beat India by Four Wickets in Second T20I

Josh Hazlewood’s fiery 3-13 dismantled India’s top order before Mitchell Marsh’s brisk 46 guided Australia to a four-wicket win in the second T20I at the MCG on Friday, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.

Chasing 126, Marsh and Travis Head (28) powered Australia’s reply despite a late wobble caused by India’s spinners.

Earlier, Abhishek Sharma’s blazing 68 off 36 balls was the lone bright spot in India’s 125 all out, as Hazlewood’s movement and accuracy ripped through the top order. Despite brief resistance from Harshit Rana (35), India’s innings faltered, and Australia sealed victory with 40 balls to spare.
