Australia opener Beth Mooney has returned to the top of the ICC Women’s T20I batter rankings following a stellar Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 campaign.

Mooney, who won both the Player of the Tournament and Player of the Match awards in the final, accumulated 238 runs at an average of 47.60 to help Australia secure a record seventh world title. Her unbeaten 61 in the semifinal and match-winning 64 in the final lifted her to 785 rating points, overtaking teammate Georgia Voll (779). South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt remains third, while India’s Smriti Mandhana is fifth. In the bowling rankings, India’s Sree Charani retained the No. 1 spot, with England’s Sophie Ecclestone rising to second.

Australia’s Ash Gardner climbed to sixth among all-rounders.
