Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar praised his team’s fearless batting approach after their crushing 92-run win over Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026 Qualifier 1.
Patidar smashed an unbeaten 93 off 39 balls as RCB posted a playoff-record 254/5 before bundling out Gujarat for 162 in Dharamshala. Reflecting on the performance, Patidar said RCB entered the match with aggressive intent and positive body language. He highlighted contributions from every batter, including Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal and Krunal Pandya, for maintaining pressure throughout the innings. Patidar also credited the bowlers for attacking the stumps and executing plans perfectly during the chase.
The defending champions have now booked a second straight IPL final appearance with a commanding all-round display.
