Punjab FC produced a gritty display to hold FC Goa to a 1-1 draw despite being reduced to 10 men in their Indian Super League clash on Monday.
Nsungusi Jr Effiong gave Punjab the lead in the 27th minute, but was later sent off early in the second half. Dejan Dražić equalised for Goa in the 53rd minute and was named Player of the Match.
Despite sustained pressure from Goa, Punjab defended resolutely to secure a valuable point, while the visitors extended their unbeaten run in the competition.
