Elena Rybakina advanced to the final of the Indian Wells Open after defeating Elina Svitolina 7-5, 6-4 in the semifinal.
The world No.3 secured her 12th consecutive win against Top-10 opponents with the victory. Rybakina recovered from an early break to take the opening set and surged to a 4-0 lead in the second before closing out the match in one hour and 46 minutes. The 26-year-old improved her record to 16-3 at Indian Wells and 17-3 in 2026.
She will now face world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka in the final, renewing their closely contested rivalry on the WTA Tour.
